A CREATIVE SPACE FOR ALL
ARTTIA is a Ceramics Studio located in Funchal on Madeira Island. We specialize in creating beautiful and unique handmade ceramics available for sale.
Our studio also offers pottery workshops, classes and experiences for individuals and groups of all ages and skill levels. Our goal is to provide a safe, inspiring space where anyone can spend some time, get creative and make something special.

We have an open-studio and you are welcome anytime from Mondays to Saturdays: 11.00 - 19.00 to browse our wares, see what is in production or join us to make something yourself.
We also offer workshops in studio and on-location at events, schools, organization and celebrations. Please contact us for more information and tell us about your event.

What we Offer:
Create your own ceramic piece: try the wheel, hand-build or model. For individuals + groups, with lecturers to assist.
Ceramic Wheel-throwing on the potter's wheel for all ages

At the heart of ARTTIA is Petra Hoffmannova, originally from Czech Republic where she runs the sucsessful ceramic studio ARTETTA in Liberec. Petra is a talented Ceramicist with over 25 years of experience, she is also a Qualified Teacher with a Textile Design Engineering Degree. She moved to Santa Cruz, Madeira early in 2023 with her husband and established ARTTIA STUDIO in Funchal in June 2023.
